Get free admission to a Disney park for volunteering with Hands On Northeast Ohio!
On January 1, 2010 Disney and HandsOn Network began the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day” program to celebrate and inspire volunteerism. Families and individuals can earn a free one day admission to a Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® theme park by volunteering with a HandsOn affiliate!
Anyone wishing to participate in the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day” program MUST sign up on the Disney website listed to get started. Once you are registered you can search and select from a list of eligible volunteer opportunities with Hands On Northeast Ohio and other participating organizations. After you sign up and complete your chosen volunteer activity, and HandsOn has verified your service, you will receive an email from Disney prompting you to log in to your account and print a voucher that may be redeemed for free admission to a Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® theme park. Keep in mind, processing takes around 2 weeks before participants receive their voucher.
If you are already an oriented volunteer with Hands On Northeast Ohio, you can still participate! If you are already signed up for a Hands On Northeast Ohio project on our website, go to the Disney site and register.
If you are not an oriented volunteer with Hands On Northeast Ohio, you can still sign up for projects through the Disney website, but we encourage you to attend one of our volunteer orientations so you can continue to volunteer with us!

How do you participate:
Any 501c3 can participate. Here are the steps:
1. Go to http://vop.handsonnetwork.org/
2. Click to apply to be a verification partner
3. Enter our state and city and find your organization in the list. If it is not there, enter your organization information
3. Complete your organization including the following referral code: 3RCC1HB
4. Once your application is complete you can begin to post opportunities and/or flexible nondated opportunity.
5. Information on posting opportunities and verifying the volunteer attendance afterward can be found via online trainings here.
6. If you cannot guarantee that you will verify attendance for volunteers within 72 hours, please do not participate.

Things to remember:
1. Please note the system is updated every 24 hours at approx. 5am. So, any opportunities posted today, will not go up until tomorrow.
2. Disney tickets are released approx. 2 weeks after you approve the attendance on the http://vop.handsonnetwork.org page.
3. Volunteers CANNOT get tickets unless they sign up for your opportunity on the Disney site.

Program Terms & Conditions
Receive free admission* to one of the theme parks of Walt Disney World® Resort or the Disneyland® Resort when you sign up and complete a day of volunteer service with a participating organization.
You must sign up for eligible volunteer opportunities for the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” program through this site. Participation in volunteer activities outside of this sign-up process does not qualify for a free ticket.
Ticket quantities for this program are limited.
One ticket per person, regardless of the number or hours of volunteer service completed.
The program begins January 1, 2010 and continues until tickets are distributed or December 15, 2010, whichever occurs first.
